What is Digital Printing?

Our Brother Direct to Garment (DTG) printer uses eco-friendly, water-based inks specifically designed for fabric. This method of printing is extremely precise, making it able to print images with high resolution detail with no limit to how many colors you can print.

Digital printing saves you the cost of traditional screen printing set-up fees, screen-fees, and color separation fees. That's because with DTG Printing there are no screens to set-up or tear-down. Because of this (unlike screen printing) there are no minimums and turn-around is much faster. You can literally print 1 unit if that's all you need.

We can print on anything that is 100% cotton, and have had success with poly/cotton blends (we require time to test if you choose a high poly content garment). Maximum printing area is 14" wide by 16" high.

The ink our DTG uses is a pigment that soaks right into the fibers - unlike plastisol. The fabrics are heat pressed to cure the print, which sets color fastness.
